Abdul El-Sayed | People Powered Happy Hour

April 14 @ 5:30 pm7:30 pm
Pull up a stool for Democracy Brewing at The Livery in Benton Harbor — a relaxed, in-person night of unfiltered conversation with Dr. Abdul El-Sayed, candidate for U.S. Senate.

This isn’t a rally. It’s not a debate. And it’s definitely not a scripted stump speech. It’s the community asking real questions in the moment and getting real answers on the spot.

Abdul El-Sayed
Abdul is a physician and public health leader who’s spent his career making government work where it matters most: in people’s everyday lives. He rebuilt Detroit’s Health Department after bankruptcy and later restructured Wayne County’s Department of Health, Human & Veterans Services.
On the trail, he’s focused on what working folks are feeling right now: an economy that actually works for working people, healthcare you can afford, housing costs, and clean air and water.

What to expect

  • A quick intro (who Abdul is + why he’s running)
  • Warm-up questions to get things rolling
  • Open community Q&A (your questions drive the night)
  • Time after for one-on-one conversations
